Telašćica Bay is located in the central part of the eastern coast of the Adriatic Sea, in the southeastern part of the island of Dugi otok. Thanks to its outstanding beauty, richness and significance, this bay, surrounded by 13 islands and islets, and has six islets within the bay, was proclaimed the 1988 Nature Park. The protected area was granted in the 1980s thanks to its extremely valuable plant and animal world, Geological and geomorphological phenomena, valuable seabed communities and an interesting archaeological heritage.
The territory of the Nature Park of Telašćica is an area rich in contrasts, quiet and quiet beaches and a coastline on one side and wild steep cliffs on the other side, the area of Aleppo pine and oak oak on one side, and rocks on the other, the area covered by vineyards and Olive groves, but also the area of degraded vegetation that covers dry habitats.
